متن کاملA Coordinate-transformed Arnoldi Algorithm for Generating Guaranteed Stable Reduced-order Models of Arbitrary Rlc Circuits
Since the rst papers on asymptotic waveform evaluation (AWE), Pad e-based reduced order models have become standard for improving coupled circuit-interconnect simulation eeciency. Such models can be accurately computed using bi-orthogonalization algorithms like Pad e via Lanczos (PVL), but the resulting Pad e approximates can still be unstable even when generated from stable RLC circuits. For c...
متن کاملEecient Reduced-order Modeling for the Transient Simulation of Three-dimensional Interconnect
Multipole-accelerated surface-volume methods have proved to be very eecient techniques for delay and cross-talk simulation of three-dimensional integrated circuit interconnect. However, to be eeciently combined which transistor circuitry in a SPICE-level simulation , reduced-order models which have accurate low-frequency behavior must be constructed. Asymptotic Waveform Evaluation (AWE) or Pade...
متن کاملMultipoint Galerkin Asymptotic Waveform Evaluation for Model Order Reduction of Frequency Domain FEM Electromagnetic Radiation Problems
In this paper, a model order reduction technique is presented. This technique, known as Galerkin asymptotic waveform evaluation (GAWE), or multipoint Galerkin asymptotic waveform evaluation (MGAWE) if multiple expansion points are considered simultaneously, can be used to reduce matrices describing electromagnetic (EM) phenomena generated through the finite element method (FEM) to a smaller spa...
